Drugs of Choice for Hypertensive Crisis

Live healthy and long

Philippines  September 13 2015

What doctors prescribe for hypertension

A recent Acute Hypertensive Emergency makes one research on how to deal with one, and even examine the drugs being administered.  It is good we now have internet;  and that there are heart specialists the author knows of specialist from Philippine Heart Center.

The patient is in the province in her 60s and experienced shortness of breath, dizziness, general weakening of the body and chest pains (a heart attack?)  She was put on losartan (an angiotensin receptor blocker known for treating long term essential hypertension and that acts on kidney) a diuretic,  a digitalis and Vit B complex.  The family spent a good 5 figures for having her watched in a hospital and her bp remained unstable.  The chest pains and shortness of breath were still there.  BP shot up to 180/120 when the multivitamins was given.  (It has been stopped when the watcher noticed the causal effect)  The BP is now down to  120/90.

What are the 7 poisonous drugs that the govt wants the masses to take?

Live healthy and long

Repost from Health Science Institute

These are the 7 drugs that the govt has approved for consumption of the general public but could be poisonous. Statins contribute to memory loss and risk of diabetes.  Celebrex can cause heart attack. Those who take sleeping pills are 5x more prone to die than those who dont.

Some anti diabetic drug has been linked to bladder cancer and heart failure

Anti cancer drugs are known for serious side effects:   baldness, vomitting, loss of appetite, and destruction of healthy cells.

There are some alternatives that HSI point out:

DBX 13 for weight loss and lowering of cholesterol, a sugar escort, twice as effective vs pharma anti diabetic drug

H-86 as new anti cancer treatment without serious side effect

Killer Blood Pressure Drugs; walk, eat real food, drop few pounds instead

 Repost from Joe Barton Publishing

I do not need to annotate this post;   it is so simple enough to read.   This very warm summer, (hot), this article is very timely.  Many people suffering from high bp are very likely to succumb to stroke or heart attack.  Pharma drugs give dramatic results but have side effects.  Read on.

____________

Some of the most commonly prescribed blood pressure drugs are
very, very dangerous.

If there's any way you can avoid it, you want to avoid taking
these drugs.

But chances are, if you've been diagnosed with hypertension (high
blood pressure), you're already taking one or more of these
drugs.

Here are the most frightening side effects that are brought on by
the more popular blood pressure medicines:

1. Beta blockers like Sectral, Zebeta, and Bystolic  have been
shown to cause stroke, pulmonary edema, heart attack, and
arrhythmia.

2. Also blockers like Prazosin and Vasoflex  can damage your
kidneys or your liver.
3. Diuretics have been shown to cause gout or even kidney
failure.

4. Beta blockers can mask the signals of low blood sugar,
dangerous to diabetics... And equally dangerous, diuretics can
actually increase blood sugar levels.

5. Calcium channel blockers, such as Norvasc and DynaCirc CR,
cause all sorts of side effects: rashes, flushing, dizziness,
fatigue, nausea, and frequent severe headaches.

So what are you supposed to do if you suffer from high blood
pressure?

I suggest you take matters into your own hands, and rely on
proven, natural solutions. Medical researcher Joe Barton
recommends these 3 tips to help bring down your blood pressure
without drugs...

1. Take a walk every day. Nothing crazy. Just a brisk 20 minute
walk will do the trick.

2. Eat more real food. If it comes in a box, a bag, or plastic
wrap, don't eat it. Only eat "real food".

3. Drop a few pounds. Carrying extra fat on your body raises your
blood pressure. Losing that extra fat helps lower those blood

pressure numbers.

These three simple tips will help get you started lowering your
blood pressure naturally.

What Barton also found was that adding these tips to a very
simple program he and his research team have devised can make a
dramatic, fast, and lasting reduction in your blood pressure.

They have prepared a free, quick video presentation that explains
exactly how their system works.

Use of beta blockers reduced risk of dementia

Live healthy and long

From Newsmax health

In the Honolulu study reported by Dr. Lon White at Pacific Health Research and Education Institute, those who took anti hypertensive drugs known as beta blocker:   propanololo, atenolol, and metopronol did not have damages from demenetia and Alzheimers.   Surely the lower blood pressure offered as protection for the brain of the subjects.  Less damages were visible after the autopsy

The study involved 774 men in a study that covers the period 1991 to 2012 and who had ages 71 to 93.  Those who took the beta blocker had less fewer lesions than those who took other blood pressure lowering drugs.

The study cant be conclusive owing to the small number of sample...

More studyneeded.
