3 foods you should eat everyday to live healthy and strong.

NewsmaxHealth - Dr. Fuhrman reveals 3 foods you should eat everyday  October 24, 2013

Dr. Joel Fuhrman, a family doctor and nutritionist told in his book "Eat to Live", that we should at least 3 foods to live healthy:  vegetables, beans and onions to live healthy and ward off cancer.  We should look at the kitchen pantry rather than medicine cabinet to live healthy and strong.  The three nutrient rich foods can ward off cancer and other diseases.

He advocates a nutritarian diet, rich in vegetables, low in meat protein bread and pasta.

He explains diet rich in micronutrients under the acronym:  GBOMBS are rich in minerals, vitamins, and phytonutrients and they are powerful anti cancer agents in our diet.

Greens
Beans
Onions
Mushrooms
Berries and
Seeds

vs foods rich in macronutrients:   fats, carbohydrates, and animal proteins.

Juicing does not guarantee that you will be disease free; many fruits are pesticide laden

Live healthy and long

Repost from Ivillage | March 15, 2013

When we conversed with Nikken associates on why barley and water purifiers/mag pi filters are necessary?   The senior associate has friends that juiced fruits but still succumbed to the big C.  Why because the fruits and vegies that were juiced were heavy with pesticides.

Some of them:   apples, spinach, potatoes, cherries, kale, sweet bell pepper, blueberries, nectarine, peaches, celery, strawberries

Subject: My fat-burning grocery list (copy this

One of the biggest struggles that folks have is knowing how shop and choose the right foods when visiting the grocery store.  And while there are SO many choices and a TON of confusion at your local grocer, they've actually made it really EASY for you to shop, if you know what sections to visit, and which to avoid.

In fact, I can get in and out of the grocery store with a full cart of fat-burning groceries in just 15 mins nowadays, simply because I know I'll NEVER even visit 90% of the store isles on most visits.

So, before we get into my exact grocery list, here's my EASIEST grocery store tip EVER:

Shop the perimeter of the grocery store and avoid the middle isles.  That's it!

Here's why it works:

With few exceptions, the middle isles of the grocery store are full of process packaged foods while the perimeter contains almost all of the whole, natural foods you'll need to stock up your fat-burning kitchen.

Here's my usual routine when visiting my local grocery store, and I'm sure your store is set up in a similar way.

When I walk in the door I make sure to walk right on past the bakery!  Did you know that nearly every grocery store puts the bakery right at the entrance intentionally?  If they can get your saliva glands working right away, it's very likely you'll spend more as you travel through the store...nothing in a grocery store's layout is by accident, which is why I know your store is probably laid out the same way.

So, quickly pass by the bakery and head straight to the produce section...this is where wholesome goodness starts...fresh fruits & veggies.  In my most recent trip, here are the items I grabbed from the produce section:

Apples
Oranges
Bananas
Cherries
Berries
Green Beans
Brocolli
Sugar Snap Peas
Carrots
Red Potatoes
Spinach
Romaine Lettuce

Of course there are a ton of other great choices lying around the produce section...pretty much any vegetable and/or fruit would be a great fat-burning, nutrient-rich choice.

I then walk 5 steps from the produce section to the fresh meats and poultry.  At our grocery stores here in Florida (Publix) they have an "all natural" section of the meat department called Greenwise where you can get all-natural and organic meats that are sourced from animals not treated with hormones and antibiotics...your store probably has something like this as well.  Just ask if you aren't sure.

From this section I grabbed:

All Natural Chicken Sausage
Grass Fed Ground Beef
Grass Fed Chuck Roast (for pot roast)
Organic Chicken Breast
Grass Fed NY Strip Steaks

Next up is the milk and eggs section, again right on that back wall (still haven't ventured into the isles at all).  From here I picked up:

Organic Large Eggs
Organic Butter
Organic Whole Milk

Along the very last isle in the store are some more dairy items where I grabbed:

Organic Greek Yogurt
All-Natural Cheddar Cheese

If you have trouble with gas and bloating when consuming dairy products, I would highly recommend AbsorbMax Digestive Enzymes.  I used to have similar issues when eating dairy and now I can eat all the dairy I want with absolutely no issues whatsoever...all thanks to this amazing enzyme blend:

Also in that last isle is water, so I grabbed a case or two and that essentially took me back to the front of the store to check out.  A full cart of fat-burning groceries all while NEVER visiting the center isles where I'm sure I would have been tempted to toss in a bunch of processed garbage like cookies, crackers, chips, ice cream, cereal, stove top pasta "mixes"...and the list goes on.

If I do ever make a strategic trip into the middle of the store, it's almost always to get these items:

Beans
Spices
Tomato Puree
Nuts
Stevia

And that's about it.

Follow that simple advice next time you're at the grocery store and you'll be in and out in no time while avoiding all those processed items that wind up ruining your diet once you get them home.

And if you want to start enjoying dairy again without any of the digestive side effects, I highly recommend AbsorbMax Digestive Enzymes.  Get yours here with free shipping today:

Enjoy the day!

The TRUE BOTICA NG BAYAN AT THE PUBLIC MARKET

Effective Cures Can be Cheap

Promoting Entrepreneurial Revolution

An Art Work at the Pavement of the Municipal Hall Complex

I am quite surprised and amazed at the depth of inventory of fruits and vegetables available at the Angono Public Market.  With all the talk about greening, healthy food and nutrition, I think the Angono Market vendors are well poised to handle the new need of the eating public.  Many people are not aware that many of the vegetables and fruits being sold at the market are cures.

For instance, Moringa (malunggay) is much much bettter than wheat grass or barley.  Barley would cost you P250.00 per, but moringa.  Or graviola (guyabano) is cancer cure.  Tumeric is good for high blood pressure.  Eggplant contains compound that has been used vs. skin cancer.   Apple is an effective susbstitute for statins vs cholesterol.

Watermelon is effective vs BPH

Very soon the vegie and food section may be called a pharma section and to buy the vegies or fruits, you may soon need Rx.

Public Market Fruit and Vegie Section - Section for Life Giving

A fruit stand:  oranges, bananas, mangoes, papaya  Papaya cures many diseases

Apples  (keeps cholesterol away, better than statins) Apple vinegar good for weight reduction, oranges,  melon ,papaya (crushed leaves of papaya taken as tea increases blood platelets) pineapples ( a healthy fruit, rich in Vit C, contains very little calories, good for deworming)

Ripe mangoes at PHP 25@ l/2 kg. ( a prized fruit by chef, just like avocados)

Raw carabao mango variety merchandised nicely

Bananas, watermelon (cure for prostate) and coconut

Watermelons and bananas (quartering the watermelon makes it attractive and affordable.  It is a natural viagra, and good for treating enlarged prostate. (BPH) Pakwan and the other variety are quite effective.

A virtual pharma center

                                         More watermelons on stock

FDA now considers eggs as nutritious rich in Vit D  before it caused elevated BP?

                                     Tomatoes, squash, and cabbage

Moringa, the tree of life, more vitamin C and potassium than other vegie/fruit. Dr. Gonzalez says that Moringa is better than Barley or Wheat grass and very affordable.

Okra:MA Tolentino and my neighbor says it lowers BS and BP, weans you away from metformin and statins.   (Soon you need RX to buy OKra;  no wonder, it gets exported to Japan) I am on Okra therapy.

Squash is good for eye problems, eggplant contains L argenine good for the heart, squash seeds is rich in zinc (good for enlarged prostate)  charantia (ampalaya) is good for diabetes;  well okras benefit has been mentioned above.  Eggplant contains a substance that treated 80,000 skin cancer patients in Royal Hospital in London, UK.  The market is a virtual pharmacy store;  we do not realize this.

Charantia, ampalaya, bottle gourd, contains natural insulin, pectin very effective in combatting high blood sugar in diabetes

Carrots contains beta carotene, anti oxidants, tomatoes contain lycopene, anti oxidants too,;  capsicum (red pepper) rich in Vit C, and also contains anti oxidants.

Chiling labuyo being peddled by a young girl;  hot chili

                                      Kangkong, camote young leaves, alugbati

                                            More vegies

Chayote, carrots, cabbage squash, cucumber, and mongo sprouts-  all healthy food
The storekeeper request that she be included in the pix

                                        More healthy vegetables

One of the store keepers covered her face.

Tutes coconut milk stand;  also coconut oil and grating services

Prawn costs PHP 500 per kg.

                                      Grilled head is delicious

Mussel (tahong)  You should try baked tahong.

Meat products are sources of Zinc and CO Q10

We have been accustomed to the idea that meat products are bad.  Fatty meat, and or meat that are cooked in hot oil are toxic to the health.  Meat products are sources of some essential vitamins and minerals.

Give us this day our daily chicken

                              Chicken is favorite among Filipinos

                                          More chicken

                                         Processed meat

I featured the photos of very few of the market vendors/entrepreneurs of  Angono Public Market.  There must be at least 500 of the other types of vendors. I focussed on the vegetable and fruits which are healing food.

By doing this blog, and when read by many (it is not now) many Filipinos will save on pharma and PF bills and hospital stay.  The center for health will not be hospitals or clinics but markets.  It is much healthier and cheaper.

Those who are photographed here, the food vendors at least keep the townspeople of Angono well fed, they get the right nutritional values at fair price.  They get meager earnings to see them through the day, well send children to school.

These entrepreneurs help bring the coffers of the govt up a abit and give livelihood to the support officers of the public market.  They generate the traffic for the utility vehicles, tricycles, jeepneys and the like.  They feed the bombays, the money lenders, the 5/6 and keep the banks busy.

Arent they great?
