Live to 100?; Cancer -- move it to lose it; Ancient skin healing secret

Live to 100? Why stop there?

Imagine -- these 4 youth secrets could be all you need to slam the brakes on aging.

They're powerful, they're premium and they're packed with so much age protection that living into your hundreds -- and living well -- could finally be a reality. Your heart, your eyes, your brain and so much more can experience the ultimate protection.

Each one is strong enough to battle aging on its own -- but together, this Power 4 is unstoppable. Discover the only 4 anti-aging breakthroughs you will ever need -- all in one place -- today...

How jumping jacks could save your life

Time to get moving, sir -- because getting into shape today could protect you from some of the leading cancers in men for years or even decades down the road.

One new study finds that fitness in your 40s, 50s, or 60s could slash your risk of lung cancer by 68 percent and colon cancer by 38 percent -- not just now, and not just for a little while... but for a whopping 25 years.

That's a quarter of a century of protection from just a single healthy habit.

And if you do happen to get colon, lung or prostate cancer, being fit can slash your risk of dying of the diseases, according to the new study of 17,000 men.

Of course, there are different levels of fitness and different ways to measure it. And, let's face it, not everyone's an athlete.

And if that's you, don't worry. There's an easy way to get most of the benefits even if you're badly out of shape -- and you don't have to train like you're competing for a spot in the Olympics.

Start by hopping on a treadmill and seeing how long you can go at full speed. Then, get to work on improving that time.

If you can add just three more minutes to your time, your risk of death from cancer will drop by 14 percent and your risk of death from heart disease will plunge by a quarter, according to the researchers.

And if you can keep improving on your time, you can bring those risks down even further.

It's like winning the battle against disease, three minutes at a time.

(Did you know that exercise isn't just good for your body it's good for your brain too? It could be the key to slowing down or reversing the ravages of dementia. Click here to get all the details.)

If you're overweight, don't let that stop you -- the study finds that obese men can get all the benefits of fitness even if they remain obese. (On the other hand, if you really work at getting fit, you will almost certainly lose the extra weight anyway.)

And if you're slim and trim, don't rest on your bottom -- because the study presented at a meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology finds normal-weight men with low fitness have the same risks of cancer and cancer death as obese men with low fitness.

I'm not done with exercise news yet. You could be undoing all your hard work without even knowing it -- especially if you're taking this common drug.

The DRIER your skin is--
The BETTER this ancient remedy works

For centuries, the Aborigines have endured one of the harshest, driest climates on Earth--constantly exposed to the searing rays of the sun in an intense desert heat that's hard to imagine--let alone live in. But, the Aborigines have learned to adapt to their surroundings, and have discovered ways to survive by living off the land and using only what Mother Nature provided them.

And no, it's not that they've adapted to the extreme heat. Their skin is just as susceptible as yours and mine--but they've got a skin healing secret...

How statins undo exercise

"No pain, no gain!" That's what they say about exercise, right?

But cholesterol-lowering statin drugs can turn exercise for fitness into an exercise in futility -- because new research shows they can actually undo all your hard work and even block some of the most important benefits.

In other words, all pain -- with no gain.

In the study, two groups of overweight, sedentary, and unhealthy volunteers were put onto fitness programs. Half got statins, half did not.

After 12 weeks, the ones who didn't take the drugs got all the expected benefits, including a 10 percent improvement in aerobic fitness and a 13 percent increase in the activity of an enzyme used to measure the health of muscle mitochondria -- or the part of the cells that produce energy for the muscle.

The ones who took the statins, on the other hand, went in the opposite direction. They had virtually no gain in aerobic fitness, with an average improvement of less than 1 percent. Some of the volunteers even saw their aerobic fitness levels worsen.

Imagine that -- working hard for three months, and getting worse!

And it doesn't end there, either. Remember those all-important mitochondria? The enzyme levels actually fell by an average of 4.5 percent.

The study has shocked some in the mainstream, but it's consistent with the rest of the research on statin drugs. We know, for example, that marathon runners on statins suffer more muscle damage during a race. We also know that lab animals given the drugs don't run as far as animals not on the drugs.

And of course one of the most notorious side effects of statin drugs is muscle pain -- in some cases, pain so severe it can be debilitating.

My suggestion is to make sure you get your exercise no matter what. But if you're on statins, speak to a holistic doctor about finding a way off -- because most people don't even need the drugs in the first place.

If you want to know more about why, read my free report on cholesterol here.

God bless,

This drug nullifies the value of exercise for good health

Live healthy and long

From Dr. Mercola archives  |  June 7, 2013

Taking statins nullifies the value of exercise, one of the cornerstone of good health.  Those taking statins increased their aerobic capacity by mere 1.5 per cent or even decreased it at the end of 12 week period and even decreased mitochondrial content (used for energy production) by 4.5 %

Those who did not take statins on the other hand:   increased fitness by 10 per cent and mitochondrial content by 13%.  I was foolish enough not to follow the doctor who prescribed statin for an elevated cholesterol level.

I just biked and it was good enough to reduce cholesterol, uric acid and bs level

Prescription drugs -- without a prescription
Who needs a doctor when you have drug commercials? It used to be that a patient would tell his doctor what was wrong, and the doctor would come up with a diagnosis and a treatment based on those symptoms, and some tests. These days, it's the other way around: A patient sees a commercial for a drug and says, "I need that!" Then, he marches into his doctor's office and demands a prescription. In theory, that extra step -- going to the doctor's office -- is supposed to stop people from self-medicating and taking drugs they don't need, too many drugs, or dangerous drugs without a doctor to keep an eye on things. In reality, once a patient asks for a drug he usually gets it. Usually, but not always -- and it drives the drug industry nuts that at least some patients are being stopped by stick-in-the-mud doctors who worry about little things like health, safety, side effects, and necessity. They want patients to be able to skip the middleman in the white jacket and get drugs on their own -- without a prescription. And right now, that drug-industry dream is about to become a reality. Under a nightmarish new plan, supposedly from the FDA, statins, diabetes drugs, asthma meds, and more could all be available over the counter. I say "supposedly" because I don't believe for a moment that the agency came up with this out of the clear blue sky. Behind the scenes, you can bet the drug industry has been pushing for this -- and pushing hard. Them, and insurance companies. Since insurers don't usually cover over-the-counter meds, this could save them billions (and cause patients who really need those meds to pay more than ever). The fact that the FDA is now actually proposing it should tell you everything you need to know about who really calls the shots in Washington. After all, no one else is clamoring for this. I haven't heard a patient yet say he wished he had easier access to statins. And doctors hate the idea. The American Medical Association even testified against it at an FDA hearing, and not just because docs could lose money if patients no longer need to come in for office visits to get prescriptions. It's because they'll be the ones left picking up the pieces when patients make bad drug choices -- something that's bound to happen when they're choosing medicines based on TV commercials.

Something BAD is hiding in your intestines -- But you can help fix it in just 7 seconds a day...
If you suffer from occasional gas, bloating, indigestion or digestive discomfort -- there IS something you can do about it... When my patients come to me with these kinds of complaints, there's one simple secret I rely on to give unbeatable digestive support -- and it can do the same for you... Not only do my patients swear by this digestive support secret -- I use it myself. And now, you can too. See how it works, right here...

You're slowly being poisoned
Want a shock? Go get tested for heavy metals. Your jaw will drop when you see the results. I know, because I see the reactions in my own clinic every single day. The reality is, nearly everyone has way too much lead, mercury, arsenic, and other toxic heavy metals inside them -- and these metals are a major cause of supposedly incurable conditions. I say "supposedly" because I often can cure or improve them, and I'll tell you everything you need to know to get started on your own cure in a moment. First, a new study confirms the role of toxic heavy metals in autoimmune disease -- especially among women battling disorders such as thyroid disease, MS, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and lupus. Researchers examined data on 2,047 women who took part in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey and compared blood levels of mercury to the presence of the autoantibodies made by the thyroid in response to autoimmune diseases. Sure enough, women with the highest blood levels of mercury were more than twice as likely to have high levels of the thyroglobulin antibody linked to those diseases. Now, you've probably heard that we all get exposed to metals, and that's true. It's almost impossible to avoid them completely. But you've probably also heard that the tiny levels we're routinely exposed to -- like the mercury in flu shots and amalgam dental fillings -- are harmless, and that's an out- and-out falsehood. Want proof? Look no further than the same new study, because the "high" levels of mercury linked to those high levels of the thyroglobulin autoantibody weren't high by current standards at all. In fact, they were under 5 micrograms of mercury per liter -- or well in line with what the mainstream considers "safe." You see, no amount of mercury, lead or other heavy metals is really safe. How do I know that? Simple: There's no known healthy function in the human body for these metals! If you suspect exposure to mercury or any other heavy metal, it's not enough to find the source and eliminate it. Heavy metals don't leave the body like other toxins. They accumulate -- and the more they accumulate, the sicker you get. The best way to rid your body of mercury and other toxic heavy metals is through chelation, but don't try any of the do-it-yourself treatments that reach the market from time to time. An experienced holistic doctor can test you for metals and provide you with the chelation therapy needed to remove anything that's accumulated -- and if you have thyroid disease, that's another reason to get tested for these metals. If you would like testing and treatment for these disease-causing metals, you can contact my Stengler Center for Integrative Medicine. You can find more information by visiting markstengler.com.
God bless, Dr. Mark Stengler

What is your take on this?  Will you still drink soda?  Do you thinks this post is a leftist movement against multinationals and big business?

What about statins?  It is good that when my cholesterol, I defied the doctor and took my chances. I just biked and exercised to burn off the cholesterol.  I would have had dementia and bad kidneys plus an empty bank account had I complied.

Claims that statins are good for cancer is phony - says top doctor

Live healthy and long

From newsmax health

The claim that statins are good for liver cancer cure is not to be believed.  The credentials of the researchers from Milan is dubious, they being consultants of big pharma making statins ( Conflict of interest?)

I in four Americans over 45 are at great HD risk.

Live healthy and long

From Dr. Mercola

One out of 4 Americans over 45 are taking this drug:  statin marketed under brand names of Lipitor, Pravacor, Crestor, Mevacor, Crestor and others. It is the No 2 most prescribed drug.  They are taken to reduce the cholesterol level (following the high cholesterol level leads to heart disease theory),

Without going into the merits of this theory recent findings suggest that the statin use increase calcification of the coronary by 50%.  Instead of curing heart disease, statins actually abets, accelerate HD.  Why did they not know this before hand?

They also cause other side effects as loss of memory, type 2 diabetes, acidosis, cataracts. pancreas liver dysfunction, increase in liver enzymes,  anemia, SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION,  MEMORY LOSS (DEMENTIA)

The article describes the LDL HDL relationships and what must be done to reduce LDL (the bad cholesterol

Those who must continue taking statin must take l00 to 200 mg CO Q10 (ubuquinol) as statin deplete the body store.

How to reduce cholesterol naturally

1 Normalize insulin level. Reduce sugar. especially HFCS;  the insulin level should be only 3;

2.  Nutrition- a good portion of your food should be eaten raw.

3 Take omega 3 oil.

4  Eat healthy raw fat as coconut oil,  olive oil, organic dairy, nuts, organic grass fed meat

Fwd: One Fruit More Effective than Statins For Combating Cholesterol

Really, an apple a day keeps the doctor away.  An apple a day keeps cholesterol away.

An apple a day may keep the cardiologist away, according to a
research study conducted by Florida State University Scientists.
In this USDA-funded study, a group of women were asked to eat 75
g of dried apples per day. At the end of the 6-month follow up
period, the apples dropped "bad" LDL cholesterol by 23%
--comparable to cholesterol-lowering prescription medications
like Lipitor.

The apple's benefits went further than a simple reduction in
cholesterol. Serial apple eaters found themselves with
significantly lower levels of the pro-inflammatory protein CRP.
The researchers state that the soluble fiber in the apples were
likely responsible for the dramatic drop in bad cholesterol.
Apples are also an abundant source of antioxidants, which also
likely contributed to the reduction in inflammation that the
subject's experienced.

Despite contributing an estimated 250 calories to the subject's
diet, the apples didn't add to the volunteer's waistline. In
fact, each apple-eater lost an average of 3 pounds -even though
they didn't purposefully cut calories.

Fwd: Substitute for Statin Drugs- Red Yeast Rice

                              Red Yeast Rice at right

I just got a feed from Blue Heron Health News on cholesterol lowering.  Now that the jury is our that FDA admitted the continued use of statins: the cholesterol lowering drugs can cause diabetes, and even loss of memory, the search for less damaging substitute is out.

The feed shows that on a limited test, the eating of red yeast rice 2x a day resulted in lowering of cholesterol  level. This was at Chesnut Hill Hospital in Flourtown, Pennsylvania and from the research of Dr. David Becker.  (Could this be brown rice of Dona Maria) and the other brown rice available in PHL market.? What happens here:  Flourtown found its enemy in red yeast rice.

In Thailand, the social entrepreneur were promoting the use of brown rice to lower the incidence of lifestyle chronic disease like heart disease and hypertension

Last night, I ate red colored corn.  Could they be same?

Wahhh? Vitamin C to Prevent Heart Attacks? Works as Well as Statins?

Effective Cures Are Cheap

In this newsfeed Dr. Brownstein maintains that Vitamin C and 2 Amino acids prevent the clots or plaques from sticking on the walls of the blood vessels.  This sticking to the walls precipitate the atheriosclorotic process.  Animals do no have this condition because they make their own Vitamin C.  Plus hormone therapy can help reduce the risk of occluded blood vessel.   Well this feed may be an ad, and you may need to buy the book.  This blog is not a tool to promote sales of his product, but the knowledge on health.  In this case we know it:  Vit C as alternative to statins. And Vit C costs lower than statins.

Now you know!
