No to privatization - is this simply a way to preserve jobs and tenure?

Leo Obligar in his program Kanta ng Bayan criticized the government plan to privatize 39 public hospitals.  He cited this after noting that many young poor children are dying from cancer.   And where will this poor children get the resources to get cure.  Naturally they cant be treated for a song in private hospital.

One wonders if the consolidation of hospitals by the MVP group resulted in improvement of health care in the Philippines.  One thing for sure, this resulted in more expensive health care, albeit the delivery was better and more efficient.

But accessibility and affordability is becoming a big challenge
