HPV vaccines are ineffective; can increase cancer risk?

There are two HPV vaccines in the market licensed since 2006:  Gardasil and Cervarix.  But study of the data showed that the deaths coming from cervical cancer did not actually decrease  significantly.  Infection from a specific class, HPV - 16 actually decreased by mere 0.6% and risk of infection of those vaccinated increased at 6%.  Quite an oddity for a drug to be ineffective after given much hype, and actually causing disease it sought to prevent..

They can cause life threatening Side Effects.
