Healing Plants for Major Dread Diseases
Effective Cures Can be Cheap
Here is a classification of plants according to the major diseases for which they are useful for:
HEART DISEASE
1. Musk mallow (Abelmoschus moschatus) p. l
2. Annatto "achuete" (Bixa orellana Linn) p.26
3. Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var caulifora gars) p. 3l
4 Indian traveller's joy (Climatis triloba Heyne) p.42
5. Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) p.50
6 Wiregrass "crabgrass" (Eleusine Indica Gaertn) p. 6l
7. Walnut (Juglans regia Linn) . 8l
8. Garden radish (Raphanus sativus Linn) p. 119
Cauliflower, cucumber, garden radish and walnut are common items bought the markets. Annatto and wire grass (crab grass) are a surprise.
