But now US CDC Rapid increase of CoVid19 in households

That may no longer be correct.  Many people get infected at home,  thanks to fast infection rate from new covid 19 variants.   People get sick  when eating together, partying, or just staying together..

The house satisfies the requirement for transmission:   close  personal contact, lot of time staying together for the viral loading, and enclosed space

What is the next move as the spread rages across households?

Infections from Zika virus could reach pandemic proportions if uncontrolled. possibly infecting a couple of millions especially in Americas where it has infected 23 countries.  Its vector is Aedis Aegypti mosquito (did we not tell you that the animal that kills most people is the mosquito?)

But what makes it so alarming is that it causes microencepaly in infants (small heads) and there are about 4,000 reported in Brazil.  Pres Obama, CDC, and WHO have issued warning regarding Zika virus.  Advisory has been issued for pregnant women not to travel in countries known to have Zika infection

On one hand there is a reason to be scared;  9000 have been infected and death has surpassed 4,000.  1,000 cases are reported weekly and WHO predicts this to be high as 10,000 weekly, and cases could reach as high as 1.4 million by January 2015.

Remember, the first case was reported in Guinea last December 2013.  There were only 2 deaths out of 59 in Guinea last March.

Senegal and Nigeria now Ebola free?

At the same time Nigeria and Senegal would have passed the 42 days timeline to be declared Ebola free.

Before the movie on "Outbreak" of Ebola, in USA looked so unreal only movie stuff.  However, it is so real now in Africa, More than 660 have died from the disease, and thousands have been infected.

It first started in Guinea in January 2014.

The countries that are affected are Guinea where you have the highest death of 314,  Liberia 217,       Sierra Leone  219 deaths,

Ebola is like dengue, a form of haemmorhagic fever.  It is 90% fatal when contracted.

It is now the concern for CDC in Atlanta.  Unless communities in Africa can contain the infected patients just to stay there, then the outbreak is imminent.  Experts say that since there is no available cure, and 90% die from the disease, the best way really is to contain the spread and prevent the outbreak.

Ebola is a category 3 disease:   deadly and no known cure.  Even anti viral preparation cant prevent or counter attack the virus.

The only known help would be to have fluids.  Mortality  rate for those who have fluids infusion is 60% vs those who have none is 90%.

So avoid travelling to Africa or being in contact with those who just came from the above mentioned countries.

First it was the MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staphylicoccus Aureus):  but now what is more frighteting is CRE (Carbepenem Resistant Enterobacteria)  One such example is the Kleibseilla which comes from the gut.

Difficulty with CRE:

l.  No antibiotics can kill them
2.  They transfer virility to other bacteria;
3. They are quite deadly with mortality as high as 50% (you do not need the outbreak type infections as that from Ebola)

CRE situation:

4% of US hospital have at least one CRE infection at the first part of 2012;

18% of long term facilties have CRE (homes, mental institutions)

They have been confirmed to exist in 42 states in the last 10 years.

Frightening?  Cause overtreatment with antibiotics.

The CRE infection may occur at:

l. Hospitalization especially at ICU

2.  Invasive procedures

3.  Compromised immune system:   diabetes, cancer, lupus, 

4.  Inadequate infection control in health facilities

5.  Prolonged antimicrobial treatment.

Thus, diminishing the use of antibiotics with natural means is a way to prevent increase of CRE:

1.  Washing hands especially after coming from CR or public places;

2.  Supercharging your immune system: through diet, exercise, anti oxidant, Vit D.

What is Hepatitis C?

You get this disease when you are infected with HCV virus and you get flu like symptoms and with other symptoms like nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.  In 75% to 85% cases, it may lead to chronic infection that does not produce any symptom.  In some cases, it may lead to cirrhosis of the liver.

Hepa C may be spread via blood and personal contact only:  sharing of needle, accidental puncture of health workers, blood transfusion and donations,

But according to CDC in l5 to 25% of the cases, the disease may clear without any treatment.

According to Mayo clinic, dx of the disease does not mean that you need treatment, and the risk of future problems is very low.

Natural treatments:

In some of the cases who were ruled to live only for weeks became well without pharma treatments but only with:   selenium, sylimarin,  alpha lipoic acid.

Advice when you get Hepa C:

l.  Drink pure water;

2.  Avoid foods that weaken immune system

A 2 year old infant died of a mysterious E coli infection in May.  There are reports of similar infection at CDC (Center for Disease Control) in Atlanta, Georgia  (Remember the movie "Outbbreak").  This is a new strain of E.
