What are the two worst food that you could possibly eat?

Live healthy and long

From Dr. Mercola archives | January 2013

What are the major bad components of our diet today: 1.   processed food (especially high fructose corn syrup that is contained in drinks and sweets -  cakes, candies, cookies)  and 2.  hydrogenated oil.

Why is oil hydrogenated, or butter -  to increase its shelf life, melting point.   The process involved in injecting hydrogen into the oil (hence hydrogenation).  It is partial hydrogenation which is bad and has been traced to cause:

diabetes, chronic diseases, heart disease, cancer (by interfering with enzymes that fight cancer) body's immune system, reproductive system

What about soybean oil?  Many think it is healthy but the truth is (soybean also contains phytroestrogen which is bad for reproductive health) and contain phytates (this prevents absorption of certain minerals)

It also contains:   anti nutrients like saponins and protease inhibitors that prevent protein absorptions and hemagluttinin which cause aggregations of red blood cells preventing proper oxygenation of blood.

Dr. Mercolas recommendation:

l.  Use coconut oil for cooking (hooray for PHL coconut oil exporters)

2.  Use organic butter instead of margarine

3.  Eat raw fats from avocados, pastured egg, raw nuts, dairy products, olive oil and omega 3 fatty acids.

Eat less junk processed food, if you value your health

E 71 now in the PHL?

Cheapcures for every Juan

It is not the virus that infect Nokia, it killed 3t children in china in 2008

The E 7l enterovirus which affected several children is rumored to be here in the PHL? We can not but be cautious.  We are near Cambodia.  We are back to proper quarantine procedures.

Again the proper antidote for this handwashing.   Handwashing.

And building up strong immunity vs. virus and bacteria.  That means plenty of immunity building food like Vit C and anti oxidants.  More malunggay and more tuber and food crops whole grains to enhance absorption of protease inhibitors which are well known anti viral

Healthy Food - Tacos

Effective Cures that are Cheap for Everyone

My daughter prepared for me a taco meal.  I have not eaten one before.  I found out this to be healthy.
It consist of sliced fresh  onions, tomatoes, cabbage,  some ground meat   We all know that all contain phytonutrients.  Onions as mukonetic amd anti diabetic, tomatoes contain lycopene, other phytonutrients and betacarotene, and protease inhibitor (they were slightly raw).  Cabbage, we know as cruciferous vegetable is anti cancer.  And you feel light after eating taco.

x                            Onions are some of multi purpose foodcures

Another healthy dish consisting of chicken carrots,  and peas

Teditorial Mentioned Nuts Last Night at ANC

Effective Cures Are Cheap!

Teddy Locsin mentioned the value of nuts last night at ANC's teditorial the healthy value of nuts.  The choice is between pistachio and walnuts.  He says that he prefers pistachio.  When he was in Iran, he tasted fresh pistachio and said the taste was heavenly.

The health values he mentioned which was a post from Huffington Post is on high blood pressure and diabetes.

We all know that the better value of nuts is as  protease inhibitor  that strengthens body vs. cancer and virus.   Protease inhibitors vs HIV must be expensive.  PI from nuts grains and tubers are cheap.

Protease Inhibitors from Whole Grains and Nuts- Anti Viral and Anti Cancer

Effective Cures Can be Cheap

Jasmine rice at left, and brown rice at right;  you must mix them as you cook them.  It is not so  easy eating brown rice.

This is again from the book "Food Pharmacy" by Jean Carper, Simon and Schuster, Australia, 1988. pp. 64 -70.

I have often wondered why in so many nutrition and diet publications, they always recommend whole grain and nuts.  It was suggested by our family MD to roast peanuts or boil medium and eat them regularly;  I wondered or why brown rice is now a craze among nutrtionists.

I just discovered from this book that grains and nuts contain protease inhibitors.

In order for the seeds and nuts to survive animals eating the fruits for food, in order to preserve the species and to grow the plants, they must not be digested in the digestive tracts of animals.  And the compound that lets out seeds unaffected is protease inhibitor. When we eat the seeds or nuts, the compound create strong defenses at the cellular and even molecular level to prevent cellular destruction and intrusion by:   cancer cells and virus.  With that it is easy to understand the mechanism of action and the logic why eating the whole grains and seeds are preferred.

How are protease inhibitors ingested by us?

If animals can get the protease inhibitor, how can our body get the substance?   By boiling, or by eating them as sprouts.

                                        Bean sprouts, carrots and tofu

Thus eating balut and one day old chick release the nutrients that protect the young from pests and bacteria.  These types of food make sense.

Investigator for anti cancer.

Dr. Walter Troll, a professor of environmental medicine made the remarkable discovery of protease inhibitor in l969.  He found pi for short to be effective in initial stages of conversion or normal cells to carcinogenic.  But is less effective when cancer has spread (metastasized).  But Dr An Kennedy of Harvard Public Health found the pi effective in reversing cancer damaged cells to normal.

Investigator for anti viral properties.

Pharmas have not yet discovered a safe anti viral agent.  (Hmm, the medicinal foods are pretty advanced!)  But investigators at John Hopkins Hospital (pioneered the open heart and heart surgery and other breakthroughs in medical science.) found pi to have suppressed growth of rotaviruses causing diarrhea and other GI disorders.  High concentration of soybeans obliterated said viruses.

Which food contains protease inhibitors.?

The so called seed foods contain protease inhibitors:

Nuts:  peanuts, walnuts, pecans,  cashews'

Grains:  rice, corn,  wheat, oats, sweet corn

Tubers:  yam, potatoes, ube, gabi, banana, taro

N.b. 50% of protein of raw tomatoes is protease inhibitor.
