Millions of Americans would lose coverage under Obamacare

Should it rather be called Un- Affordable Health Care Act?

Despite the repeated statements by Pres Obama that no one would lose coverage under the new Obamacare, estimates has it that roughly 40 to 60% of Americans would lose coverage under the new law because most of existing insurace do have the minimum coverage under the Affordable Health Care act:   maternity, mental health care.   This high minimum has prompted many insurance companies to raise their premium

This is what the President said:
If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your healthcare plan, you'll be able to keep your healthcare plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what."

The Obamacare roll out woes (a botched website) has rattled many Democrats who are for reelection and even joined the Republicans call for the deferment of the signature law under Pres Obama -  the Affordable Health Care Act.  Republicans are still licking the wound after the nearly 17 days of govt shutdown and now sees an opening for a renewed attack
However the rates for the insurance has shot up dramatically.

George Schwab, of NC, 62 had a $228 plan with Blue Shield, but in September, he got a letter saying that the said plan is  no longer available.  A comparable plan will set him back by $1, 208 with a $5,500 deductible.  About 80% of individuals will not be able to afford the new insurance.

And besides, how long does it take to get medical treatment under a socialized health care?

Is socialized health care good for Canadian patients?
