Do we breathe this dirty air?
On a clear day, from the Angono lakeshore forest park, you can see Muntinlups skyline and Global city buildings. But not today or any other day. The air is heavy with smog and visibility is poor. That means air quality is poor, and despite LTO emission testings and apprehension, enforcement is far from being really enforcement. It is a child if not a money making scheme by enforcers. Because after all this is the result.
Please take note that toxins weakens body's immune system and greatly contribute to the growth in incidence of cancer. Futhermore, from the Dr. Otto Warburg's theory of cancer, ie, low oxygen ennvironment contributes to growth of cancer cells (Dr. Warburg was the first to grow cancer cells in vitro). Isnt something to be done to improve air quality.
Now cancer ranks second to heart disease as the cause of mortality. In this environment, wouldnt cancer, especially of the respiratory tract very soon?
Isnt controlling air pollution, a prevention, a low cost cure?
Even Laguna, Talim island, Quezon (Mt Banahaw) are invisible
Clear view of sunset, same place
You can see the silohouttte of the hut and the buildings at Global city, in the day picture, they are gone
You can see clearly the lights at SLEX, Muntinlupa area
Nice pictures, almost artitstic, it may win an award?!
I could not believe I took the picture; look at the shimmering light at the other lakeside. They are visible. Compare that with the day picture. The wind must have blown the pollutants during the day or the hot temp vaporized the smog.
