Mercury poisoning can give you depression and anxiety - Dr. Shade

Live healthy and long

Dr. Mercola archives

This post is about Dr.Christopher Shade, a former Illinois organic farmer.  He is an expert on mercury toxicity.  Toxicity from mercury can come from inorganic:   amalgam/mercury fillings in teeth and vaccines, and methylmercury (organic) from fish.  The mercury, as heavy metal binds more to the cells compared to other metals like zinc or copper.

Mercury stays long in the body and detox may take a year.  Toxicity from mercury can be treated in various ways:

l.  Using gluthathiones.  Capsules are not very effective.  But milk whey can increase its absorption

2.  Phylogenemics - use of superfoods to remove toxins.  They are endowned with polyphenolic compounds that bind with mercury;   like pine bark extract;   and green tea.

3.  Taking sulfur based foods like garlic.  The sulfur compounds upregulates the body's glutathione system which chelates mercury  (Alicin is not the main compound here that is active for the glutathione but lipoic acid) It is a potent regulator of glutathione system.

4.  Astaxanthin -   strengthens body cells from damage

5.  Chlorella- detoxify gut and body.  They prevent absorption and reabsorption of heavy metal into your guts (liver excretes the heavy metals, intestines reabsorbs) and prevents metals from coming in contact with your guts and irritating them.
