Ceramic cookware reduces toxicity in cooking

Live healthy and long

From Dr Mercola archive | March 14, 2013

Dr. Mercola suggests that various cookwares made of metal and Teflon especially are related to increasing toxicity in the food we eat.  Copper, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, glass are seen to be capable of leaching toxic metals and substances into the food we eat.

More dangerous is the PFOA (perflourooctanoic acid) contained in non stick pans and which is easily released in as little as 446  degrees Fahrenheit.  It is associated with disorders of the organs:   liver, brain, kidney,  liver , thymus, and prostate from the toxicity.  It is associated with deaths and disorder of  rats.

Dr Mercola suggests his Mercola cookwares that will not:   leach toxic chemicals, non reactive, will not absorb food odors, is dishwasher safe, penetrating heat process cooks food inside and out
