This drug nullifies the value of exercise for good health

Live healthy and long

From Dr. Mercola archives  |  June 7, 2013

Taking statins nullifies the value of exercise, one of the cornerstone of good health.  Those taking statins increased their aerobic capacity by mere 1.5 per cent or even decreased it at the end of 12 week period and even decreased mitochondrial content (used for energy production) by 4.5 %

Those who did not take statins on the other hand:   increased fitness by 10 per cent and mitochondrial content by 13%.  I was foolish enough not to follow the doctor who prescribed statin for an elevated cholesterol level.

I just biked and it was good enough to reduce cholesterol, uric acid and bs level
