Subject: Lesson Three: Water Ionizer Basics
Tap water is filled with industrial waste and discarded
pharmaceuticals which require intense filtering for optimum purity.
Also, there are commonly heavy metals, harmful bacteria, and
potential cancer causing agents (like fluoride) found in many water sources.
The first part of any proper water treatment involves filtering the
incoming water.
All water ionizers sold on Ionizer Oasis first take the water from
your tap and filter it using a combination of bacteriological and
particulate control incorporating silver-activated charcoal, the
most accepted and proven method on the market. The machines use
between 6 and 9 stages to filter out 99.9% of the harmful things
found in your tap water.
This includes:

* Trihalomethanes

are left with nothing but clean, mineralized water which is ready
for the ionization process.
The water now enters the ionization chamber where the machine's
plates are located. Here it has a very specific, low-voltage
electric current passed through it, which causes the soluble
minerals in it to be attracted to either a positive 'pole' or a
negative 'pole' depending on their own valency, or electrical
energy signature. When this happens, the water separates into
alkaline and acid streams.
The alkaline water is used for drinking, while the acid water can
be captured and used externally for cleaning skin, healing, feeding
plants and disinfecting. All our machines have an SMPS power
system which is adjustable and able to monitor the exact voltages
needed for specific levels of ionization, based on the levels
selected by the user with a simple press of a button.
The real amazing part of this process is the mineral distribution.
The harmful minerals (and mineral compounds such as fluoride) polarize
and flow out with the acidic water while the positive minerals
(mainly) flow out with the alkaline, leaving us with healthy
ionized drinking water.
While the ionization is happening, not only are pH and ORP changing
(as discussed yesterday), but another profound change is happening.
From ordinary H20 the water becomes OH-. This means it becomes a
powerful antioxidant formula at an atomic level. It also means that
it changes the way its molecules group together.
Normal H20 molecules clump together in groups of 12, while this new
water only groups in clumps of roughly 6. The water clusters are
smaller, which according to Dr. Hayashi, of the Japanese Water
Institute, gives it the ability to penetrate tissue and cell more
easily. This is why many people experience detoxification effects
in the first few weeks of drinking the water, as it infiltrates
areas that have not been reachable with ordinary H2O.
This is what is called "microclustered" water. It is also very
beneficial to people who are experiencing an increased difficulty
in absorption in the upper intestines, which is common with aging.
*Important Note: The ORP change of ionized water begins to decrease
after 18 - 24 hours, the pH change 1 - 2 weeks, and the micro
clustered effect 2 - 4 weeks. For maximum benefit, make sure to
consume ionized water within 24 hours of creation.
As you can already tell, we love water ionizers. Love 'em! But,
when it comes down to it, a reverse osmosis machine is the best
filtration available. Reverse osmosis (RO) distills water to a
level of purity that a water ionizer simply can not. You see,
ionizers need to leave the good minerals in (which the RO takes
out, along with everything else) in order for the ionization
process to occur.
But what about people with really terrible source water? Or what
if I just want to ensure the purity of my water? Shouldn't I be
using reverse osmosis?
Well, yes! Just, not by itself. Reverse osmosis produces water
with NO minerals in it, some of which are vital to our body's
functioning. Also, it produces water that is usually 7.0 pH or
LOWER. As we've learned, this is no good. So, here's the ultimate
combination.
For the absolute purest and healthiest drinking water, you want to
send your water through a reverse osmosis filter, feed that into a
remineralizer, and then into your water ionizer. The
remineralizing prefilter will put the good minerals back into the
distilled RO water, so that ionization can occur. The result is
the purest, healthiest, alkaline drinking water available!

This is now day three of your crash course on alkaline water and
Today we'll be talking about water ionizers. What are they?
What is the process? And how do they affect the water?
Then at the end, we'll discuss the added benefits of using a
reverse osmosis filter in conjunction with your water ionizer.
It's funny, but as I'm writing this I'm realizing it's only been
about three years since I've started drinking alkaline water from a
water ionizer, though it feels like I've ALWAYS had one...
It actually feels like ages ago because when I think about it, I
can't even relate to the person I was. Going back about five
years, I was in severe acidosis from poor diet and excessive
drinking. So much so that I would have acid indegestion EVERY DAY.
My indigestion would be SO BAD that there were times that I'd
actually get sick as a result, and the best solution I had was to
cover it up with pills and other quick fixes.
Luckily though, I was able to clean up my diet enough to get back
to SOME semblance of balance. But a few years later, when I
discoverd and began drinking alkaline water, this is when
EVERYTHING changed...
Not only did my acid indigestion clear up, I had more energy and an
elevated and more consistently happy mood. Also, my cravings began
to change! Strangely enough I was now CRAVING healthy foods like
fruits and vegetables, and slowly, my entire diet changed, without
ANY additional effort BESIDES drinking the water.
I'm now healthier than I've ever been, weigh less then I did when I
was a teenager, and feel more happy, joyous, and fit than ever
before.
This is why I'm SO excited to share alkaline water and water
ionizers with the world. My health problems were nothing compared

So what are water ionizers exactly? Well, let's get into it...
Water ionizers have been around for over 20 years, although few
people in the USA know about them. They were invented in Korea and
have become a mainstream technology there, available in hospitals,
clinics, and homes all around the country.
This technology is now making its way into the West, available for us
to use in our homes.
A water ionizer is a machine that ionizes water through a process
of electrolysis. These machines also commonly filter the water
before ionization.
So what does this mean? Let's explore the process as a two part
