Will Royal Baby Spark 'Hypnobirth' Craze?

Kate Middleton was reported to have used hypnotism in her delivery of her baby.  It may soon be the next new thing in obstetrics - ie delivery of the baby. It may be not too far in the mainstream.

Hollywood actor Jessica Alba has used it;  at is in current use in Cleveland, Baltimore.  According to Dr. Robert Atlas, head of OB Gyne Dept. at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, there are many classes being held like Lamaze class for childbirth.

Lamaze lessens pain by focusing on breathing.  Hypnobirthing does not guarantee a l00% pain free delivery but lessens pain and dependence on drug to ease pain

But hypnotism is not for everyone;  especially for those with Type A personality who is anxious and wants to be in control.
