Bird flu H7N9 deaths mount,3 poultry centers in China closed; chicken culled

As of this date, the said bird flu strains first detected in pigeons has killed 6 persons (as of todate, April 7 the number is 18 and this is alarming)  A culling of birds in Shangai market poultry center was ordered involving 20,500 birds - geese, chicken, pigeons, ducks were slaughtered. 3 other poultry centers were closed as of April 7, 2013

The local Center for Disease Control and Prevention has shown, and that is good news of evidence of virus spreading from human to human.  This is the first time that H7N9 virus is detected in humans.  The victims so far have been known to be in direct contact only with the birds.

Scientists in the US are working in the US for the vaccines.

What is the best way to avoid this epidemic:

According to Dr. Mercola:

l.  Strengthen immune system;

2.  Take plenty of rest, Vitamin D and sunlight (UB rays)

3.  Practice hygiene:   wash hands very often.  In the meantime, avoid fowls from China.

Why is it that most flu SARS epidemic originate from China?
