When you skip breakfast, risk of heart disease increases - Harvard study

Live healthy and long

From Newsmax health article dated July 22, 2013

Skipping  breakfast can cause men to gain weight, have diabetes, and increases the risk of having heart disease by 27% according to a Harvard study.  The study involved tracking 27,000 male over a 16 year period (from 1992 to 2008).  1572 of the men developed heart disease.

Late snacking also increased risk of having heart disease by 55% (is eating at 12 midnight because of hunger pangs late snacking?  I am diabetic)

There is no study on the same subject for women

But breakfast has to be healthy to make sure that it does not contribute to having heart heart disease
