Is aspartame in your softdrink with Zero ill effect?

Live healthy and long

From Dr Mercola

It is called by various names when used in food preparation:  sugar free, sugar less, zero sugar, diet, light.  Its safety in food is assured by FDA, but various research says otherwise.

It is a synthetic sweeter, hardly natural or made of amino acid. It is composed of  aspartic acid, and phenylalanine, and held together by methyl ester bond.  The problem is that when ingested, the substance releases methanol which is also known as wood alcohol and passes through the blood brain barrier and becomes formalaldehyde and  formic acid which we know is used as embalming fluid.

Methanol damages the myelin sheath of the nerves, which are insulators for neuro conduction of impulses.  Formalaldehyde is toxic and carcinogenic.

Aspartame damages your brain and may cause craving contributes to obesity
