There is an initiative to place on vote on November 6, 2012 Proposition 37 which will require the labelling of Genetically Modified Organism (food) that are being marketed as natural. Yet companies, led by Monsanto, which was voted the Worst Company, and other which even sell natural foods are objecting.
Yet GMO labelling is practiced in 50 countries through out the world
Monsanto threatened to sue state of California if such a measure/proposition is passed.
It is disturbing to note that glyphosphate, the chemical used in Round up Chemical of Monsanto has been found in France to cause organ damage and tumor in rats.
