There are four treatments that Dr. Mercola cautions against: MiraDry, lase hair removal, public hair removal, cool sculpting.
He has this much to say vs. MiraDry, a microwave treatment of the armpits that destroys 2% of the total body hair. It causes swelling and may be dangerous to DNA and may cause cancer. There is a lot of pain and occasional swelling. The sweating and BO may be controlled in some other way.
As for the pubic hair waxing treatment, the side effects include boils, increased incidence of infection and STD.
High tech options/treatment that you must be wary about.
