NY bans sale of large sugary drinks (bigger than 16 oz)

Live healthy and long

From Huffington post

The Board of Health recently approved Mayor Bloomberg's ban on large sugary drinks.  This is an apparent attempt to stave off obesity and other health problems.  (This site has constantly published negative effects of sodas on health.

What do you think of this public policy?

Will other countries, state, cities follow suit?

When will public sector intervene in health and nutrition?

Do they have the right and enabling laws to do this?

(One congressman was laughed at when he proposed to make transfat oil illegal)

BOH approves Mayor Bloomberg's ban on sugary drinks.

Violators face a $200.00 fine when caught.
